Hummersknott Academy Trust was founded in 2013 when Hummersknott Academy and Skerne Park Primary school joined to form the Trust.  The shared belief in the potential of our children and desire to provide the best educational provision possible through collaboration and support has guided the Trust activities from that day. Children within our schools acquire, through planned curriculum and exposure to high quality teaching and high expectation the requisite skills, qualifications and understanding not only to make informed decisions about next steps in education, training or employment but also to make a positive contribution in all they do and in all they encounter
